The Dog Lovers Show is back in Melbourne for 2022!

Having relocated from the Royal Exhibition Buildings to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (Jeff’s Shed) at South Wharf, the Dog Lovers Show is even bigger and better than ever.

Flinging open it’s doors on Friday October 14, 2022 for 3 days of dedicated doggy fun, it’s bursting with attractions and entertainment, and there really is something to keep everyone entertained.

Across the weekend, visitors will be able to interact with around 800 dogs representing over 100 different breeds in the Breed Showcase, Pet House Pat-a-Pooch zone, meet dogs looking for forever homes in the PETstock adoption zone and enjoy free displays and talks at the PETstock Stage.

Visitors will be able to shop and pick up complimentary samples from many of the exhibitors, as well as a chance to win fantastic door prizes, new product launches and show specials.  You’ll be popular when you arrive home!

The Pedigree DockDogs splashzone is always great fun and draws a big crowd to watch the waterloving athletic dogs launch themselves into the 100,000 litre indoor pool.

Triple J’s Dr Karl will be expanding minds with his dog science talk on the 10 things you didn’t know about your pooch so you’re guaranteed to be leaving with a few doggy factoids to impress your friends and family.

Television’s Dr Katrina Warren and Bondi Vet Danni Dusek will be handing out tips on the PETstock stage on how to have a happier and healthier hound.

K9 lover Brodie Young will MC the InstaPooch red carpet as Melbourne’s most handsome hounds strutt their stuff in their own doggy catwalk.

Once dogs have had a taste of the limelight, their owners will surely want to check out the Melbourne pet photographers that will be exhibiting at the show.

There are also plenty of kid friendly activities to keep the little people amused throughout the day, including free doggy face painting, a neon glitter selfie wall and a funny photo wall.

To keep visitors refreshed, hydrated and fueled there are numerous food trucks, coffee carts and cafe outlets as well as for the first time, The Dog’s Barn, a licenced area for taking time to relax and enjoy the surroundings and meet other dog lovers.

Open from 9.30am through to 5pm daily between Friday October 14 and Sunday October 16 2022 there is plenty of room for everyone, but please remember that this event is aimed at humans who love dogs. Dogs should remain at home and patiently await the treats and toys that their humans will surely bring them!
