My boy Rusty has been a happy patient at St Kilda vet for around 5 years now. Today he had surgery to remove a few nasty lumps by the lovely vet Kat which went really well and I am so thankful. All the staff at the clinic are just wonderful, you can tell they really care about the animals they are trusted to care for. I feel lucky to live close by and would never go to another vet.

Having been coming here two years since moving to the area and at first felt it was a bit of a lottery as to which vet you would see… however my latest experience was sensational, my old cavalier needed a teeth clean and the surgeon was very considerate and took extra care knowing her age and pre-existing heart disease. Thank you for looking after her so nicely, such lovely nurses too!

After an awful experience by another vet, I took my greyhound here and the service and care myself and my dog received blew me away!
I was seen my Raquel and she was simply amazing! She took the time to explain lots to me and the possible causes of my pooches troubles.
I cannot recommend Elwood Vet more, they were kind, empathetic and genuine. I even received a text message the next day just checking in to see how she was doing.
Raquel certainly helped calm this stressed lady and went out of her way to get to the bottom of the pain my pooch was in. Thank you, thank you!

Impeccable service from Elwood Vet. Our puppy Dallas had a bad case of doggy Gastro a couple of weeks ago. Deb was super caring and we were very impressed by the follow up calls every couple of days for the next week and a half to make sure she was ok. Highly recommended.

We have been very happy with the care provided to our British Shorthair from the staff at this practice. There was good communication and discussion about options. On a very sad day we were given the opportunity by this wonderful clinic to say our last Goodbye to our dear Savanna. With such care and compassion the vet allowed our entire family into the room, including furry ones, to be there as Savanna took her last breath. I held her head as she dropped off and family provided continuous pats. We were then given the space cry, laugh and remember our dear girl before we left her. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for allowing us this very important Goodbye!

Wonderful service, took our Dash in for her annual vaccination but we found out she wasn’t due for a couple of months (this was the first time we visited this clinic).
After updating us that Dash wasn’t yet due for her injections they gave her a few treats and trimmed her nails & didn’t charge us for the visit.
Good to know there is a Vet in our local neighbourhood that really cares about our pets as much as we do!

We don’t recommend this VET at any cost. Overpriced and suggesting unnecessary operation to our pet without even did much checking before hand.
We send our 9 year old dog, to revisit the Village Vet because he still cough quite often after taking 10 days of antibiotics. We require to do some x-ray to see if there is any issue with his chest. I don’t think they keep record for past visit and they keep asking if he need a blood test every time. We did blood test, and general check up at the Village Vet since day one and had been visiting this vet whenever our dog felt sick. They only realise blood test had been done recently when we mention that’s when they agree another blood test wouldn’t be necessary.
We left our dog at the Vet @ 9am, they contacted me about 10:30am and also send us an email (please see the attachment) suggesting dental disease is the reason that cause his sickness, so tartar extraction need to be done to get him recovered. The chest x-ray and cough workshop would be $800-900. If we go ahead with the teeth workshop the price would be minimum $1300 plus $345 for chest X-ray.
At this point, our instinct tells us to reject this suggestion and take him back. As they claimed a chest x-ray had been taken from the email, we asked for it when we are picking him up . It turns out none of the examination had been done so this visit was free of charge.

We sent him to the another vet where we used to visit for our other pets in our old neighbourhood. They said even the teeth are not in perfect condition but wouldn’t be the main cause for his cough. Even if we want to fix his teeth, it should be done after he recovered from other sickness.

We have never left any good or bad reviews. This is our first time because we get totally disappointed. Our pets are part of our family, no matter how much it will cost, they only deserve the RIGHT vet RIGHT treatment instead of unreasonable pricey ones.

I visited Village Vet for the first time today, with my 9 week old dog, Leo. Both Leo and I felt instantly comfortable with vet Rod and the entire staff. Rod did a routine check up and answered all my questions being a new fur mum, he also kept things simple for me.

They are now my local vet, can’t beat friendly service!

There are not enough words to describe the phenomenal professionalism, care and just love this practice shows for their patients (and the patients owners). I am so grateful to them.
I had what ended up being somewhat brief encounter with The Cat Clinic, however I wish I had have found them over 10 years ago!
I took my handsome boy to them on a recommendation after being told a diagnosis from my previous vet. From the moment I booked him in over the phone, the care was outstanding. He was booked in with Dr Amy and she was so thorough and so compassionate with me and explained everything and left no stone unturned. When I picked him up, he was content and happy, as he was each time I took him there and the staff showed and told me how much they loved him, and they just put me at ease that he was their priority, not just being churned through.
They gave him a proper diagnosis and the best quality of life until he was ready. After a huge mess up with trying to seek a home euthanasia service, I was thankfully able to book him in and take him to the clinic one last time. He was so relaxed when he got there and I knew that this was where he was meant to be. Dr Isabelle was incredible (as all the staff were) and there was no rush, she put my mind at ease that he was ready and that I had done all I could and after he drifted away, I knew that he was safe and would continue to be cared for as I would care for him. I was able to sleep that night knowing they were looking after my boy.
I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. I will be transferring my other baby to them and am so thankful that she will now be under their exceptional care.
I only wish they had the same clinic for dogs!

Dr. Isabelle was absolutely fantastic with Pebbles when we went to see them last week. All of the staff there were so friendly and helpful. Helped me focus more on overall health and what I could be doing at home to implement a less stressful environment for my two cats. Would 10000000% recommend them, no more expensive then any other vet. Pebbles even got a little toy in the mail yesterday from them to say thank you. Beautiful, personal service. Only (TEENY TINY) downside is a lack of parking, I was lucky to get a spot on the street.

I was incredibly impressed with the way my puppy and I were treated today as new clients. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and passionate about the care of my puppy. In addition, the clinic was easy and safe to access with off street parking. Most impressive was that they took the time to provide personalised service to me/my puppy which exceeded my expectations.

I wouldn’t recommend this vet. They don’t care about your pets, only your money. I took my cats in for an ear infection and left with 1.2k bill. It didn’t even work. Took them to Brighton Vet who gave them new medication, only a few hundred in vet bills and great professional treatment

The ladies at Caulfield vet clinic are wonderful. I came in panicked with no appointment concerned about my beloved cat who it turned out only had an upset stomach. They didn’t bat an eyelash and managed to fit me in straight away, they kept me and my pet calm and were very gentle with Olive. They made the whole experience as easy as possible.
I will be 100% returning to this clinic.

Only vet we will ever go to. They are fantastic and love our dog (who loves them right back) they take fantastic care of him and are really knowledgeable about greyhounds. A little more pricy than other vets but well worth the extra for peace of mind knowing our hound is looked after. Thank you!

Great service – very thorough consultation. This was my pet’s first visit to the vet since we moved to the area. The vet was concerned to get a brief history of my pet’s health issues and took her time to explain the possible causes of my dog’s cough and the various types of treatment that could be pursued. Was very pleased to be able to get an appointment at short notice since my dog is elderly and was stressed by the move. The recommended treatment saw my dog’s health improve significantly in 24-48 hours.

I rang up this vet distressed looking for a vet because my dog couldn’t open her eye. My usual vet was closed.
The receptionist said they have space for a booking but she would have to ask the vet if my dog could be seen due to the fact I had not been before and they were only open for half the day as it was the Xmas period. The vet got on the phone to me and rudely told me I’d have to find an emergency vet (pay double) because they were only “seeing their own clients today”, this is after I told her I was really worried and distressed for my puppy. No sympathy of care given in the world. Little did she know I was looking for a new long term vet. Unbelievable.
