Elizabeth was experienced, amazing and very thoughtful when it was time for our beloved Benji to go over the rainbow. We were sent a condolence card from the clinic which we appreciate so much and are very thankful they went above and beyond to make sure we were ok during this difficult time. Thank you 🤍

We have taken our much loved Rottie to Peter and the team for several years .She always loved going there ,jumping out of the car with tail wagging. When the time came for her to leave us Peter was amazing. Peter, Libby and Beth are so knowledgeable, compassionate and caring.
We could not recommend them more highly to anyone looking for an affordable vet.

Wonderful place. The journey there is almost two hours but absolutely worth it in the end. Really efficient service and everyone is clearly so passionate about what they do. Dr James is really professional and listens patiently to all my questions and concerns and ensures I have all the necessary info to give my pet the best care possible. Very reasonably priced, especially for such an unusual practice. Wouldn’t take my blue-tongue lizard anywhere else!

First time owner of an eclectus parrot, called for a quick chat after my parrot ate some Protein Powder. Was told what to watch for, they researched the product and put my mind at ease. I will be driving around hour for my Parrots next blood test and check up. Excellent service friendly knowledgeable staff.

Absolutely love the team at Unusual Pet Vets. I drive almost an hour for their services and I wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else. They are kind, passionate about what they do and always have a smile on their faces. Their payment options are an added bonus and really helped me when my bearded dragon needed surgery. They are the only vet clinic I trust with my animals after having several bad experiences with others before I found them. Thank you to the team at Unusual Pet Vets :)

All the staff at Karingal Vetinary Hospital are a delight to have treating my dog. They are so caring, professional and supportive. When my dog was in hospital for the day l was kept updated on his progress and informed of my choices. The vet went above and beyond in working with my dog and accommodating my family.

Very disappointed with this clinic.
The veterinarian was completely uninterested in the welfare of my cat. He spent 15min trying to find the cat in the computer every time I have come, looking utterly perplexed every time as to who I am and what the history of my cat is even though it should be all documented. He did not treat the cat for the hair loss around her ears, shrugging and stating that everything is fine when clearly my cat is showing signs that she is not. And then administering vaccines that cost an arm and a leg without pre warning me of how much they cost and and that they need to be repeated monthly/ yearly. I was shocked by the price that I was not prepared to pay or the sudden ongoing expense.
I spoke to the clinic and mentioned my disappointment and they seemed to understand and booked me in with a different veterinarian. When the day came to get her vaccine that was scheduled and address the ears that are now much worse that I had not been attended to by the previous vet, they rang in the morning of the appointment and cancelled and said that this vet as of now so suddenly will only be in on Fridays which I cannot do for work. No 24 hour notice no nothing. Unbelievable. I can’t believe this clinic gets 5 stars from all these people. I fell for these rating and kept on coming back thinking maybe it was just me. But no. Please take your cat elsewhere

I started using this clinic 20 years ago when I saught a second opinion about my dog suddenly becoming unwell. They saved her life. I have been using them since. The lovely staff have cared for my dogs from puppies to seniors with the oldest now 17 and very healthy. They are really understand and respectful about the cost of tests and procedures and work with owners to help find solutions that ensure your pet has the best level of care for their individual needs.

We have been coming here since we moved to Frankston in 2019. The practice is excellent and most importantly Harry is happy to be looked after by the team, especially in these Covid times. The care and advice we have received from the vets and nurses can not be faulted and every question is answered.

I presented at emergency because my pup injured his leg on a walk. He’s had similar issues over the years and although we’ve tried to investigate and get a diagnosis, this never happened. Dr Desi was able to give him an official diagnosis and now we can ensure he gets required care to to have a great life. The whole team there are lovely and I would recommend AEC should you ever find yourself needing emergency care for your beloved pet.

Our hearts sank when we saw what our dog had done to himself late last Friday night, after a call to AEC in Frankston I drove down with our 3 year old dog.
The staff attended to Zane our German Shepherd who had a laceration on his side with great care and compassion.
Our treatment options were laid out prior to any procedure taking place and once a course of action was decided the nurses and vet on shift explained all the medications and care required going forward.
They also forwarded the details to our own vet for their reference.
Great to have access to a facility and staff to look after our fur babies when traditional vets are not available.

We had to visit the AEC on a Sunday night after our puppy ingested the elastic ear loop off a face mask.
I called them first for advice and they suggested I bring my puppy down immediately for treatment. When I arrived they took my puppy straight through and were able to retrieve it prior to causing serious issues.
They were incredibly professional and helpful on a busy Sunday night and were happy to answer any questions we had.
I also noticed how kind and supportive they were to other owners of sick dogs in the waiting room.
