Have been to Dogue Bulimba previously and could not recommend highly enough, especially for a breed specific haircut, which I have always been happy to pay that bit extra for. This time they failed to meet expectation. Advised clearly to leave ears long and just tidy up as needed (was noted on her file on top of all her previous notes from grooms prior). Returned to collect her and her ears were hacked off. I use the word “hacked” as that is the best description for it. Not only ridiculously short but all uneven and on closer inspection still had knots in them so makes me believe not even brushed. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that Matt could not have been more apologetic, offering a $20 discount. Unfortunately, apologies nor a discount will fix this terrible groom. We won’t be back.

Really upsetting experience. My pup went for his second groom ever (first time with this company) and ended up needing to go to the vet because of what happened with his ears. He has been a completely different pup since coming home, scared and head shy, running away from us when he is normally the happiest soul and yelping in pain. The lady initially said nothing happened to his ears and then text saying they attempted to clean, a lot more ‘grooming’ happened than was told when we consulted a vet. Very disappointing, I should have listened to previous reviews and stayed away- instead I thought there were multiple positive so it would be okay, but that was very wrong. We won’t be returning and I hope no one else’s pup has to go through this.

We are so lucky to have found amazing groomers for our little Cairn Terrier, especially ones that offer hand stripping in Brisbane because not all groomers offer it. My dog always looks so handsome after every groom. Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, it is absolutely worth it because they are so friendly and happy with my requests. My dog is always happy in their hands. We always get comments on how handsome he is and always get asked for recommendations on hand stripping, and we always recommend Four Paw!

My little corgi HATES having her nails clipped . Four Paws looked after her so well. In hindsight I think I may have been even more nervous than my dog after dropping her off but the staff were kind enough to call me after just a few minutes to let me know her nails were done and that she was fine. I appreciated that so much! She also got a bath and blow dry and she smells and looks gorgeous! Will definitely be back – highly highly recommend!

Four Paw have increased their prices by 50 per cent since last booking saying it was due to higher rent at new location. From $80 to $120 for a small dog – for the same service! I sent an email to discuss pricing structure and I was told there was “nothing to discuss” and wished good luck finding a new groomer! Very poor customer service.
(Further to the response below, I was told it would “probably take an hour or maybe an hour and a half” for the grooming job. That’s the price difference between $80 and $120 for an owner. I was charged $120. That’s a big difference for a customer. That was the issue that I wanted to discuss. But you just brushed it off and effectively told me to find another dog groomer. That doesn’t seem like a way to keep customers)

My pup Enzo loves it here! He likes it so much he’ll take us here on our walks.

He’s energy levels are insane but comes home so tired he looks like he’s walking drunk!

Highly recommended will definitely be repeat customers for a long time!

I took my two border collies here, one of them is a rescue with really long hair, he was so afraid of being groomed and had become really matted, I tried other groomers but he was too scared and couldn’t cope.

The groomer at 154 was gentle and patient with him and got rid of all the mats and tangles, she even clipped his overgrown paw hair!!, his looks like a different dog and it was a stress free groom, my boy was so comfortable with her.

Both my dogs look amazing and gorgeous and both were super happy coming out of the groom. Cant recommend this place enough, professional, patient and kind and my dogs look like they could go on a tv commercial, so happy.

I have been going here for approx 1 year and really wanted to support this local business. The lady who runs it is lovely. Unfortunately this morning was the second time I showed up for my dog’s confirmed appointment and no one was there. The inconvenience means that I will have to find another groomer. The added annoyance is it takes time to get into some else, but the lack of reliability makes it too difficult to support this business.

My poor west highland terrier has no hair left on his back and he has shaved clipper marks across his back. He is red raw in several places. Terrible! The owner tried to tell me that his hair had fallen out and it wasn’t their doing. He has a thick, double coat and is not loosing his hair! $95 for the worst ever pooch parlour experience. Will not be returning.

This is the first time that I have used the services of Kath at Ruff Ruff Dog Grooming – I cannot speak highly enough of how lovely Kath was with my dog – not to meant the best groom Niles has received in a very very long time. Kath took the time to make not just Niles but also myself comfortable. I just wished I lived here so that Kath could continue to groom Niles for me – after seeing Niles’ groom my daughter will now be taking her dog to Kath too.

Puptopia is truly a wonderful place to take your pups! I have a miniature Daschund and she was so well looked after. I was recommended to take Missy hear after hearing it was great for smaller dogs. Missy had a fantastic time meeting a load of new friends. We will definitely be back!

Just took our puppy to Puptopia & are super impressed. Communication was great, done nice and quick and we are so happy with his cut. They did exactly what we asked. Our puppy also seemed to be in a good mood when we picked him up, which is really comforting as well. Will definitely return.

Mr Teddy Bear are AMAZING! Super friendly staff and the grooming is consistently perfect. Sisi is so great – she has remembered my dogs name and his grooming style since his very first visit as a puppy 3 years ago. You can tell they treat your puppies well when the dogs are so excited to see them :-)
