This is the second time my wolfhound cross has been to this establishment.. Wow what can I say they were fantastic as my dog can get quite nervous around people that she doesn’t know and they took wonderful care of her.. The girls there are so patient and look after her, she came home with a great groom. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place as the dogs are all so well looked after.

Today I have seen a recording that absolutely made me sick to my core! The dog had clearly been poorly treated, he was severely dehydrated, could hardly walk from standing for hours & could not breathe… how is this business allowed to treat animals/ peoples loved ones like this? Itis absolutely appalling. Would never bring my pet here!

Gianna is absolutely wonderful at what she does. She cares about the little details and so our dog’s groom is always of such a high standard. She is professional, caring and friendly. When our dog Harvey first saw Gianna he had an anxious history with the hair dryer, and Gianna worked so gently and carefully with him to make sure he was comfortable that now Harvey is feeling much more confident and less resistant about the dryer. I would highly recommend her services!

If that were the case then why weren’t we notified or at least given a phone call to say that she’ll be longer than expected. Andrea was not sympathetic and clearly didn’t see what our problem was or why we were frustrated. I suppose we could have called you she said. You’re absolutely right…..go get our dog we asked, but she’s wet she said. At this stage my husband and I were completely annoyed and in complete disbelief. We took our partly dried dog and left.
This was the 3rd time that we had taken her there, whilst not completely satisfied the 2nd time I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Cannot express the disappointment and frustration experienced today. My ‘nearly’ 5 year old standard Groodle went in at 10am this morning for a full groom (wash & cut) and we were told it would take approximately between 2-3 hours. We requested a call at least 30 mins before pick up because we don’t live in the Williamstown area. Absolutely the girl behind the counter said. Just before 2pm my husband & I thought it strange we hadn’t receive a phone call (but the same thing happened the last two times we took our dog there) so we left home and thought for sure she’ll be ready when we get there. We arrived there at 2.20pm and asked Andrea whether she was ready……..no she’ll be at least another hour!!!

Andrea & the team are dog whisperers! I’ve been taking my tiny, anxious, noisy little man into Dogue since they opened. He runs up to Andrea straight away when we go in now, and if we walk past the shop he immediately charges in the front door to go say hello and have a sniff. After each treatment, Otis comes out looking like a new dog with his gorgeous bandana. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I never leave reviews but just had to for Annie and her team at Uncanny Animals. My dog was literally smiling with joy when I collected him. His coat is shiny, smells amazing and for the first time in his 11 years, thanks to their amazing grooming work, he’s not shedding hair everywhere! I sent our dogs to Uncanny Animals last week and I am beyond impressed. One of our dogs is a very anxious old girl, who HATES having her feet and legs touched, let alone groomed. Annie was so caring with her and even sent me a follow up text that night that was incredibly sweet, letting me know not to stress about Coco and that she is more than happy to groom her again whenever I need. This is in stark contrast to other groomers we have used in the past that have asked me to never bring Coco back to them.
I really cannot recommend Uncanny Animals highly enough!

I took Chewy to Uncanny Animals for the first time today and he loved it! He is normally a bit picky and gets a bit anxious at the groomers but he was treated so well and looked excited and happy when we picked him up. We are definitely coming back!

My DIY class to learn how to groom our somewhat unruly pooch with Le’Rae was unbelievable experience. She was absolutely marvellous as a teacher and a dog handler. I learnt how to use grooming tools and handle our not so ordinary dog. We also bought complete grooming set for I felt so comfortable to do it myself in four to six weeks. I also noticed how happy staff was which always reflects healthy and honest general atmosphere. Thank you Le’Rae.

Our 7mth old puppy had her first day at Urban Paws today and absolutely loved it. They sent the most adorable updates and pictures showing her having the time of her life. We brought her home at 2pm and she has slept the rest of the day away, perfect. Will definitely take her back.

the Urban Paws team were so great with our little nervous border collie Charlie. She likes other dogs, but can be nervous around strange humans. On her first day, they greeted us, showed us around, did a temperament check and then kept us updated throughout with how she was doing, with messages, pictures and videos. And she made friends! What’s not to love. Really clear communication from the team it was so nice to get the updates on how our mate Dougie was going. Clearly I had more separation anxiety than he did, he was off and away with all his new mates having the best time. Came home one tired pooch, he can’t wait for his next visit!
