Staff were not polite when I dropped my dog off. They shaved my fluffy groodle to his skin because they were behind and didn’t have time to groom him as requested. He was not matted or knotty so there was no reason for them to shave him. They were running late so he did not get groomed until 3 hours after his booked time so they had him waiting there for 3 hours, but didn’t not inform me of this when I dropped him off or apologise. Worst groom I have ever experienced. Do not recommend.

Cannot recommend this groomer enough. Tentative and caring. I have a schnauzer and am pedantic about the cut. While there are several variations in styling, the groomer will always consult upon arrival to what style you wish and make recommendations based on this. They use social media extremely well, giving owners a little behind the scene viewing on what goes on during grooming. Great girls and great service. 10/10

My border collie is so excited to come in for his fortnightly wash and tidy! They even offer colouring with dog friendly dye and do a great job! It’s so nice not having to worry about how he’s going because I know from how happy he is to get there he’s treated like royalty.
I love that he can play with other dogs while waiting for his groom and after his groom because they have a daycare. So much better than being caged for hours! And he always smells amazing afterwards

What a disappointing / shocking experience.

Why oh why would you take the time to assess a job, make the decision to start, then after doing only one section just stop and tell the client it’s ‘against policy’ to do anymore?.. leaving the client to have to work out what to do with a partially groomed dog.

It appears that Dogue has a habit of doing this unfortunately as we are not the first family to experience this. So is it ‘policy’?, as the reason we were given, or was it just ‘harder’ than expected so basic laziness?

No doubt there will be a response from ‘the owner’ telling me that it was for the safety or welfare of the dog.. I’ve seen that response from them before. I may even be told that I should be doing more regular cuts than every 3 months.

Am I expected to believe that the groomers that take on the ‘tougher’ jobs and complete them don’t care about these things? Just another excuse for laziness in my books.

When you choose a dog groomer you look for people who have skill, experience and integrity. From my experience these traits are not what you can expect from Dogue.

We had a great experience at Dogue with our puppy who came in for first groom. Very lovely staff. Helpful in tips to assist in brushing and future grooming. Will be back 😊

This was our first visit for our puppy to a groomer. He came back looking very cute with a little bandana tied around his neck. Don’t have anywhere else to compare him too so overall he seemed fine & happy. Would recommend

Tracy was so so wonderful with our highly anxious pup, Pippa on her first time being groomed. Pippa was hard work but Tracy was professional, calm and caring! Our girl now looks and smells beautiful. Thank you!

What an amazing job Shaggy Doo did on my two girls who desperately needed their shaggyness attended to. The girls left with new leases on life and at their senior age of almost 15 years that is really saying something.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As a very protective dog-parent, I also look after my bosses dog like my own – I did a lot of research about a new mobile groomer – Tracey comes very highly recommended. She is super lovely and caring.

She groomed my Lulu to perfection, took her early because I was racing around and looked after her until I was able to pick her up.

She uses a warm bath (not cold which is terrible!) and the product used was amazing.

We have a very very happy dog right now and I will be taking her back to Tracey every month now.

Sadly, if I could give these guys zero stars I would. I only took my puppy here once and she was completely traumatised. When I picked her up she didn’t seem like herself and was disoriented.
By the time got her home she wouldn’t let me or my partner touch her and hid in the corner, leaving only to drink water, of which she drank two full bowls. She would snap at both of us when we came near her, something she’s never done before. It was terrifying. It took over 5hrs before we could pat her and more than 2 days to return to normal.
I don’t leave bad reviews, in fact this is my first and I know every business can have a bad day or bad customer experience but this was too concerning not to mention and I felt I needed to warn other dog owners.
Please Note; she’s never had any trouble at Petiquette (down the road) before or since, and always comes home happy. I won’t be going anywhere else in the future, especially here.
